I had a pretty a-okay week with a great Sunday to round it off. Went to the cinema for the first time since June of last year... kinda for the same reason. More on that at the end of the post.

Week #3!
Had an errand-day on Monday. Groceries, some house cleaning, cat stuff and all that. Feels good to have less dust around after though. My sister has been reading a lot recently, very proud of her.

So sleepy... after an 8 hour nap.
On Tuesday I was messing with the Xbox and trying to get DLC to work... it was kind of weird and complicated and even though I did everything right, Rise Of The Tomb Raider still wouldn't show any DLC. Apparently it's a game that notoriously has problems with Title Updates. We also got a Far Cry-themed board game cuz my brother really loves the Far Cry franchise. Don't take us for Ubisoft fans or anything, I totally hate them now with all their shitty AI games and the total destruction of the Assassin's Creed franchise (no, I'm not talking about the black samurai, that shit is METAL, I just think it's so stupid that AC became an RPG).

Wednesday through Thursday I dedicated to fixing shit on my site. Mostly updating lots of pages and relocating all my assets from external sources, a.k.a Tumblr. I was told by many to not host elsewhere and to just keep everything in folders but did I listen? Surely not. Well, here's me reiterating advice I myself didn't follow: keep all your shit where ever you're hosting your site. Neocities' 1GB limit is very generous, I can't keep high-res art there but literally everything else I do. And I'm only at about 6%.

Office siren.
On Friday, Mo, me, and Mo's friend finally finished the main missions of the first Division game. Very underwhelming last mission, especially compared to the Grand Central and Russian Consulate missions. Still, I'm kinda sad we won't be playing it again for a while. We'll probably play Ghost Recon Wildlands next.
On Saturday my period started... and it wasn't that bad! In fact if I didn't move at all it didn't hurt at all. Pretty neat. Anyway, I took the heated water bottle, a cup of tea, and on occasion, one or two cats to my mini-cinema and blasted through 3 whole films in a day. We also finished season 1 of Ugly Betty with my mum and sister. I'm surprised how much they liked it. They are currently on team Henry but I'm a Gio truther (and I slightly, very slightly, believe in Betty/Daniel).

Nice and cozy...
On Sunday we took an early train to Agen to see 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, there were like only two dates with the original audio so we had to go! Gross, horrific, sort of hopeful. I'll write more about it on the media blog but Nia DaCosta sort of outclassed Danny Boyle at his own game! It was very fun, in a morbid way.
But before the movie we hung out at the market and found the Communist Party's office in Agen, neat. We also just wondered around and I showed my brother where he'd be having his civic courses. We had some lunch and kept waiting for the cinema to open, they closed for lunch it seems.
All my homies love the Parti Communiste!
Spooky ass church.

Cool graffiti!
I loooove taking pics with movie posters at the cinema. I have a tradition of doing it when I can. Check out some of these historic finds from my past (2014-2019):

Seems I mostly watch bad movies at the cinema?!
Sadly we could not find the poster for The Bone Temple so we settled for blue people and Scream!
He didn't know that was Zoe Saldana.
Our next train was pretty soon after the movie so we hopped on and went home. My sister managed to get our Xbox banned on Live somehow while we were gone but nothing of value was lost. Live is dead and I'm not ever really planning to play online multiplayer on the 360 anyway. All she wanted was a little Skyrim...

This Week I'm Excited For...
Probably to read everyone's posts for the New Year 2026 event hosted by 32bit. And Alice's Tooth and Nail project! We tried to figure out some very crazy iframe stuff but my brain was not big enough to help... either way it already looks amazing so I'm excited for more bands to be featured!
Song Of The Week...
Stumbled into a very cool Mandarin trip-hop mix and there were a lot of good tracks but one stood out to me like no other! 眼睛 (Eyes) by Mavis Hee.
