{February 2026 End}

Goodbye winter, we're officially in very early spring. And it's too warm, too fast. Not the most successful month ever but I did actually get a lot done and found some leads on some job opportunities. Now if only someone actually wrote/called me back...

Goals 

1. Plan birthday dinner for mum

Done and done, made a cannelloni upon her request. 

2. Job search continued

Some good options have popped up but I'm still waiting for responses. 

3. Apply for titre de voyage/carte vitale

Can't apply for the Carte Vitale right now, didn't apply for the titre de voyage yet. Lazy! 

4. 1 or 2 digital paintings for Fairyary

Started but didn't finish. 

5. Finish COTY calendar for August-December

Did not finish this. 

6. Nanoreno prep

Went pretty great, I feel ready to make the demo. 

7. Javascript basics 

Skipped out again, argh...

 Movies

Super slow month with movies, I'm disappointed in myself. Only watched 7 films and 2 were re-watches. However, I did really enjoy Conviction from 2010 with Sam Rockwell and Hilary Swank. And was excited when I saw Minnie Driver too! Two unexpected Peter Gallagher appearances as well this month, in this and Center Stage. Conviction is a tragic tale about a man falsely accused and the extreme efforts his sister goes to to try and get justice. The culprit as usual: the police. And I like that the movie doesn't fear to say it. 

TV Shows

I finally finished season 2 of Fallout, it was awesome. Great turn of events with Barb. Also finished up the re-watch of season 2 and 3 of Ugly Betty.

Games

We finally finished all the Left 4 Dead 2 campaigns, it was pretty easy-breezy with Tom and fun too. With some side of bitching. I'm also somewhere 1/3rd into Red Dead, I'd taken a small break from it but I'm for sure going to finish it. It's damn good. 

Books

Finished One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This. Would recommend to everyone because with the way the world is, it will be relevant and important forever. Started a slasher book called Clown In A Cornfield that kind of sucks... but maybe I'll still finish it.

Music

 

So much good stuff this month, especially some albums recommended by Alice. Highlight being Ephemere by Rose Blossom Punch. Also had Polar Bear Club's Sometimes Things Just Disappear and Son Volt's Trace, which is damn good.

Animation

Done re-watching season 1 of Venture Bros, even better than I remembered. I did totally forget about all the cloning and that they straight up kill Hank and Dean, caught my ass off guard.
