Yet another late entry. The week started fine, my mum and sister went to Nice to stay at my mum's friend's place. They had a pretty good time. Me and Mo stayed home all week and basically just watched movies, did some grocery shopping, and went to Bordeaux for the day on official business. It was pouring all week. Drying laundry has been a nightmare because we don't have a dryer or anything so it's all weather-based around here.
Mum and my sister took multiple trains and it took all day. And it was expensive too. It makes me super sad that somehow trains are now more expensive to use then planes. Electric trains could be much better long-distance transport than planes though.

On Monday I finally got some deliveries I was expecting for a while but happened to be lost somewhere in transit. I got a pair of leg warmers, a keychain, and a bag chain with some stars. Super cute.

Early on Tuesday we went to Bordeaux by train, my brother needed to pick something up from the immigration center. Love the train ride there. I either read a lot on the e-reader or listen to music and imagine random stuff about my comics or games or something.
The visit to the center went super fast and we met up at a mall nearby when Mo was done. I looked around, checked out H&M and stuff. Nothing good. We also visited a Søstrene Grene shop there too. It really gives me Mori Kei vibes with the atmosphere of coziness. I have been kind of into Mori Kei and Gal stuff recently, really not the same thing at all but I don't like being boxed into one style. We bought a can of Chai Latte for my mum and marshmallows for my brother to make hot cocoa later that night.

On the way to the center of town we saw a movie being filmed. It was something historical. We saw some extra enter a port-a-potty in full 18th century dress which was funny.

We went to our favourite Chinese restaurant, Wok Way and enjoyed some lamian. It was as good as always. A big second-hand book store was also nearby and had a lot more manga then they did before. I wanted to get something but decided to spend a bit less money and buy something another time.

On our walk we also had a look around in general. I didn't really take much pics but Bordeaux is a very nice city. It has cool modern parts in the center and further north and also lots of beautiful sand-coloured old architecture. It's a pretty busy place for me but I like it a lot for a one-day trip.

There is also a cute outdoor book market near Sainte-Catherine. It's totally over-priced but I almost bought some random volumes of Angel Sanctuary.

A bit before our train and while we were still in the center, we got a Japanese cheesecake. It was delicious. We got a milk tea and Vita lemon drink for nostalgia's sake from the Chinese store too. It was super nice.

We were so exhausted when we got back, we didn't even leave that late. We took the 3:20 PM train and were already home at 4:30 PM. The cats wee happy to see us, I always feel bad about leaving them alone all day. We watched The Green Mile and had hot cocoa. I can't believe I hadn't seen The Green Mile till now, I'm a real fake film fanatic. Sam Rockwell is especially unhinged in it.

On Wednesday my period started so I was out of commission. Sadly, the pain on my first day is getting better but is still super annoying. I watched some movies and then me and Mo started the Foundation but it was so boring. So we watched a video about torturing scenes in the Call of Duty games. COD is a childhood staple for me, everyone at school played some or all of the COD games. But it is wild how much of it is just lies, D.O.D. propaganda, or some form of American imperialism justification. Because gun cool, gun go brap brap.
On Thursday I was still lazing about, recovering. Worked on my site, messaged some friends, and played some Space Engineers with Mo and his (our?) friend from his college. On Friday I spent most of the time cleaning the house up, we really let it go since mum left. I tidy pretty well though, I did do some janitorial work in my life before. I've totally lost hope for reaching even 10 Inktober prompts but that's okay. Spoiled ourselves a little and made steaks for dinner. Mo likes his like super cooked, burnt as hell, rubber texture. I like mine rare or medium rare. I like the blood!
Saturday was the same, went to the recyclerie, saw my teacher from the Red Cross, Nichole. They teach for free there, it's nice. Mum and Marta also needed me to pay for their SIMs so I did that. Looked around at some manga. Had a bit of a fashion moment that I posted about on my fashion blog.
On Sunday, mum and Marta got back. They were super tired because they were supposed to arrive the day before but their train was delayed and they couldn't make the connection. Luckily we have friends in Agen and they stayed the night at their place. We watched Mystic Pizza but it was kind of lame.

And that's the week. It was pretty turbulent and next week will be a little crazy too. Halloween. Then November starts and I really want to take scripting my visual novel seriously. No jokes, now.We'll see, maybe some jokes.
