The wishes continue! Some have been achieved, some have slightly changed, or progressed and others have been removed or added. So, here is the updated version of my wishes for the year. You can also check out the list of my summer update of my 2024 wishes.

◻ Find a job/ go to job training program

The journey goes on. My issue of documents has not been resolved and is totally out of my hands. In other news, I may be able to attend a training session in order to improve my professional status. I hope my social worker responds and lets me know if I will be able to attend. 

Update #1: Received a response from a lady helping me with the document situation. Turns out if could have been an address error. Fuck me.

☑ Re-furbish my website

My goal for autumn is to finally upload the new version of my site, complete with a mobile version and all main pages: which are home, about, art, blog, collections, media library, contact, club page, site map, portals page, and friends page.

Update #1: I am currently making the new look of my site. I have settled for a style and it is going well, surprisingly.

◻ Keep a video/photo journal

By the end of the season I want to finish my autumn 'movie'. For this I will need to buy DVDs with cases (I saw some at a thrift store) and a disk burner. I need to film a lot of different footage and then edit it to be watchable enough.

⋆ ˚｡⋆୨❤︎୧⋆ ˚｡⋆ Wish 4 ⋆ ˚｡⋆୨❤︎୧⋆ ˚｡⋆

◻ Self-study A2/B1

I have to reach all my self-study goals which include going through all the A2 competencies and receiving my actual A2 diploma. After this I need to start my B1 study plan and read much, much more in French. I also want to start making short entries in French on this blog.

Update #1: Haven been barely studying! I need to get it together, STAT.

Update #2: Studied a few times but it's so inconsistent.

☑ Keep up with blogs

I feel good about: the fashion, photo, and anime blog. But I am very bad at updating my projects, music, and movie blogs. I need a better approach.

Update #1: I'm doing pretty well! Look, this blog has posts and shit.

☑ Receive CD of Moon Mirror by Nada Surf

On the first of September, I am going to order this album!

Update #1: I per-ordered! I did, I did, I did!! Now, I must simply wait for it... I already have the mp3s. The album is... impeccable. 

Update #2: It has arrived! Eee! I've never been this excited!

☑ My brother's journey to permanent residency here

My brother finally made it to France. But now we still need to go through a long arduous process at the end of which he will hopefully have some form of permanent residency.

Update #1: Still waiting for the interview date. 

Update #2: The interview will be on the 12th of Dec.
