On Tuesday, I was melting at home. The usual. I spent a lot of time tinkering with my blogs and finally updated the fashion blog. Now, the music and movie one left. Maybe I should write my Severance review. I hate talking about something I really liked, I know I just don't have the smarty-pants and evocative words to translate what I'm actually thinking. Anyway, there's actually a lot to deal with this week that I'm postponing. I guess it's time to grab the bull by the horns? I don't like that. Maybe I should check my horoscope, that I don't believe in but respect... I'm still playing Storm Lover Kai and finally made Mio my boyfriend, he asked me out, heehee.

On Wednesday I went by the thrift store and got some cute clothes, mostly happy with the very girly tops I found. Some cute things I ordered online came in too. France played against Italy for a spot in the gold medal match, it was super fun. I really miss keeping up with volleyball.
Thursday I continued to watch the Olympics, I am not super into the athletics portions but I did not know that runners were allowed to have cute ribbons and cool hairstyles! What a highlight. Honestly, if something cute doesn't get in the way of the sport, why shouldn't it be allowed? I'm glad dumb rules made by men are slowly leaving the scene. Well, not really, because many uniforms are super different for no practical reason. Take the women's and men's volleyball, gymnastics, and beach volleyball outfits. If it was so advantageous to wear a bikini and underwear style bottoms wouldn't guys be doing it too? I don't mean this in a prudish way, if ladies wanna wear less, that's cool. But if they don't want to they shouldn't have to either.

We finished Andor too, it was kind of disappointing. Honestly, the last time I really enjoyed Star Wars was Clone Wars. It's really been down hill ever since. Well, except Fallen Order, that was excellent. We also had a big clean out, vacuuming and mopping. My next goal is to organize my closet.

On Friday, we watched Women's breaking. I totally forgot they added breakdancing to the Olympics. And it was super cool! Actually, I tuned in exactly at the moment that the Australian b-girl (who is now a meme) was doing her part and I was like... woah, this is terrible. But later we saw the other athletes and I was blown away by how cool it was! I really thought 671 deserved to win but both Ami and Nicka were good as well. Sadly I didn't take any pics of this event.
On Saturday we had a disaster, the toilet stopped working. It's the end of the world. More positively, the gold medal Volleyball match was between Poland and France. Both teams are excellent but France did so unbelievably well. Few mistakes, some amazing moves, so on. It was great. In the evening time we watched Men's Breaking. I was hoping for Dany Dann to win but it was Phil Wizard who ended up with gold. It was totally bullshit that Victor beat out Hiro in the qualifying stages and took bronze from Shigekix. Nonsense! No offense to Victor, he's good, but not that good.

Me and my sister also went out to the thrift store, I was able to convince her this time. She picked out a bunch of stuff for herself so I'm glad. I also ordered her a cute Hello Kitty keychain that should arrive at the end of the month.

On Sunday I was supposed to call with my best friends V and S. Sadly, S was locked out of her house because she forgot her keys at home and had to wait until the evening when her mum would be back. Me and V called and talked about what's been happening in our lives and what we will do in the future. Everything is super hard, it's almost impossible to plan ahead without any small thing totally derailing all our plans. I feel bad because she has it even harder than me and I can't do much to help her. I miss her a lot and can't wait to see her again.

Before dinner my sister did make up for everyone in the family, me, my brother, and my mum. Everybody looked amazing but we were sweating way too hard to be runway ready. Then me and my sister watched Ninjago and drew some of the characters. After that we finally finished the Director's Cut of the Fellowship of the Ring.

So that was this week, somehow both busy and uneventful. I want to try harder next week but whenever I feel unwell, due to the heat or another migraine, everything just seems like such an uphill climb... I guess I'll have to weather it regardless.
