This has been a slow week so far because of the torturous heat. The planet is dying and there is literally nothing we can do about it.
I finished the last artfight attack for the year... lazily. I want to make a promise now to make much more polished attacks next year, with backgrounds and everything.
August is coming and I have achieved basically none of my goals for the month but it's fine, we're doing what can be done. One thing that is bothering me though is that I have been on my phone way too much recently... I miss having the Nokia as my primary phone. Anyway, it was mostly fine at first because I was watching anime on it but in the past few days I'm spending way too much time mindlessly scrolling. One day I will have a flip-phone and nothing else!!

Otherwise, I've been really invested in juicebar. Just talking to different people. I do like forums, prefer it much to penpals, IMing, or Discord, total yuck. Was sharing my CD collection with some people and I'm quite happy with how its coming along. Now, do I pre-order Mirror Moon? I really want to. My love for Nada Surf knows no bounds.

Wednesday was pretty uneventful, well, until the evening time. I had to bake a maple-banana cake that turned out so well! We are so back, I have been followed by the ghosts of many terrible baking incidents that occurred prior... At last, a return to form. My mum and sister then baked another cake...
Thursday, it's my brother's birthday! He as usual went to bed at 3 AM so the surprise was ruined a bit. He was born at 4 PM though, which are the birthday rules my mum abides, so it wasn't a huge deal. I think that's a terrible rule because it means you get less birthday time...
In the morning we made him pancakes with maple syrup, sausage rolls, and other treats for breakfast. We looked at childhood pictures, laughed at some old seflies my dad took, and generally reminisced. My sister got annoyed because she was a baby for most of them (me and here are both Rabbits, yep, 12 years apart). Sometimes she will ask me something about 10 years ago and man, do I feel old...

The afternoon was chill and at 7 PM we went to Monique's house (she's
our friend and she basically saved us when we first got to France). We
had tasty grilled chicken and vegetables out on her veranda. Then we
watched some Olympics events, swimming and BMX racing. I went to swim in
the pool, night time and water is horror movie material but is very
pleasant in reality.

Friday and the weekend were awful because of the heat. I feel ten times my weight, my brain is short-circuiting, and I hate everything. I started Storm Lover Kai and first tried to romance Soya but he got annoying so now I'm trying to get with Mio, but I actually like Wakana but you can't get with girls in this otome because its old! The two sides of 2000s games, better art but so much more puritan.

I spent a lot of time drawing and visiting juicebar, that's fun. I really hope next week will be more productive because nothing much got done this time.
