Week 30

Monday was busy with house tasks: cleaned out the entire fridge and unfroze the huge block of ice that was attached to the back wall. Made peanut sauce chicken and rice noodles, excellent combo! 

I finally woke up from the spell America's Next Top Model had on me last week, I binged two seasons (8 and 9).

This week was my last day of classes as I took my A2 exam on Tuesday and won't get the results back any time soon. I was supposed to go on Thursday for an unofficial final class but totally skipped... The heat is kind of a bummer and I don't feel like doing anything. I forced myself to do some workouts in the bathroom because we've got no space anywhere else in the house anymore, it's crowded! And it's gonna get even more so when grandma gets here at the end of august. I'm not sad for a second though, having the whole family in one place is a kind of lucky I can't ever take for granted.

Otherwise we finished re-watching The Exapnse which was a blast. Man, I wish they kept on going and we'd find out what the hell was happening with the necromancer dogs on Laconia.

On Friday, we watched the Olympics opening which was wild. It was half light show extravaganza half shit-post. I'm not sure what I'll be watching or where but I feel like it's gonna be the usual: fencing, volleyball, judo, skateboarding, and BMX. 

On Sunday we ended up going to a family friend's house to watch Women's Street but for some reason no one was broadcasting it. What a bummer. Still, we watched the Korean girls win an archery medal and some judo. After that there was a volleyball match, Serbia vs. France. It was weird to see so many familiar faces. Last time I kept up with the VNLs, Atanasijević still had some hair. And Brizard had less hair, I think. It was fun.
